George Lucas - Owner of GTL Metal Polishing

Meet George Lucas, not the movie producer but the owner of GTL Metal Polishing. George has a love for classic cars, especially '62-67 Chevy Novas. The Nova pictured on the home page is his pride and joy.

Back in the mid 1980's while working on his '66 Nova, George noticed that some of his metal trim and headlight bezels were dented. Inspired by his brother Rich (a professional auto body man), George spent the next year working out the dents and perfecting his technique with different type of metals.

GTL which first started as a part-time gig has now evolved into a growing full-time business. We have over 20 years of experience using hand tools, heat and welding (when needed) to work the aluminum and stainless metal parts back to their original shape. The polishing is the final step that really brings out the shine in our work.

GTL has helped customers from coast to coast restore their cars, cycles and boats. George prefers to keep his operation small but his quality high. GTL's goal is to provide the best service for the restoration of aluminum and stainless steel parts and trim.
